You wouldn’t DRIVE with a blindfold on, so why run a business with one?
Web Analytics & Reporting
There is a wealth of data both on and off your website that can be used to better understand your clients and how the interact with your website; from traffic sources to engagement metrics to behavior flow and advanced segmenting. See where your customers come from, what pages they visit most and which pages they most often convert from.
CloverLabs works with our clients to set up comprehensive tracking using tools such as Google Analytics and provides, while visually appealing, actionable and understandable analytical reports that can be shared across your company to all relevant stakeholders.
Being able to see where you are getting the bulk of your traffic from can help you better understand where you might need improvement, if you are seeing performance improvements and if certain campaigns you are running are in fact working. Visibility into different traffic channels include:
- Organic – You’re being found on search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.
- Social – Any posting you, or your “fans” might be doing about you is providing referral links from places like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Yelp, Pinterest, Google+, and more.
- Paid – Running any paid campaigns? You can track their success.
Who’s visiting your site most? Males? Females? What age ranges? Do they have particular interests? Are they coming from your target market or much further away? If you have a business located in a particular city you will need to see if your site is gaining (or falling) in traffic for that area.
Are you getting repeat traffic to your site? Are users loving your content so much that they are coming back for more? Or have you satisfied their needs.
Lastly, and most importantly, are you getting mobile traffic? Is your site mobile friendly?
User Behavior Data
What pages were visited first? It’s not always the home page, as many would suspect. It is very common for deeper pages on your website to be visible in search engine results and traffic could land on these pages. For instance, a blog post. It’s important to be aware of this user behavior in order to take full advantage of any potential CRO opportunities.
Overall, it is important to discover which pages on your site receive the most views for a given timeframe, along with how they engage with the content on the page. For example, how long do they stay on a given page? Do they just visit one page and leave?
CloverLabs can help you make sense of all of this data so you can make intelligent decisions about improving your website and increasing the effectiveness of your content marketing campaigns.
